the mexican wedding was headed for this place, the third (and only other) hotel in pozos, where rob and i stayed the night before, and where jeremy, his parents and all of us boys were exiled during the final preparations. the owner showed us pictures of what this place looked like before the renovation. it was just ruins; a wall here, a column there. he rebuilt it.

the little highway that runs from the real highway about twenty minutes away to San Luis de la Paz runs right through pozos, and rather appropriately turns into a cobblestone street while it's in town.

the night before this picture was taken rob and i had managed to find a room at a different hotel that had two beds, which meant we slept really well. so well, in fact, that we missed breakfast. so we decided to drive over to San Luis de la Paz, the neighboring town, to get some food.
