hang out in washington square park sometime after dark. between the dog walkers and the drug dealers you get real life dramas like the drunk group of college kids with the nearly unconsiously drunk friend who alternates between flopping all over the place, yelling and passing out, complete with two couples of middle aged folks yelling out advice such as "pour that water right on her face" and eventually the cops come and, seeing that she's already fallen into the puddles of her own vomit, keep a safe distance while waiting for the ambulance to come and haul her ass away. was i this dumb in college? yes, probably, but at least i knew not to keep an audience.

talk about entertainment though!
