i took this picture to try to capture the color this buildiing was glowing as the sun got close to setting today. i don't think i quite got it, but this is pretty close.
as an aside, i have been looking at a lot of photoblogs lately - i mean a lot of them - and i am sick of people retouching everything. i thought the point of doing this was to take pictures and share them with people, not to show off photochopped quasi-realistic paintings. i mean, you would think some photobloggers inhabit a lush dreamscape world that the rest of us can only imagine. give me a break. some days it's just cloudy outside. let go of the crutches.
