in the past week several people recommended wendy's chilli to me. it's SO good, they said, while scarfing down one plastic spoonful after another. i guess my longstanding belief that soy is short for soylent is going to have to be expanded. not that i think there's anything wrong with that. i say embrace cultural change... eat people!

a study in abstraction

this rather unrepresentative photo is supposed to be of diamond nights, a band so good some say they might be brooklyn's upcoming up-and-comers, but i don't even know what that means. all i do know is i have my hands on only four of their songs and i can't stop listening to them over and over and over again.
